Your subject librarian is here to help you find and use information. They can...
Undertaking a doctorate is a challenge for everyone, and even more so if you are not writing it in your first language. As an international/EU doctoral researcher at Reading, you can access a range of English language support services and resources during the course of your doctorate at no extra cost.
The Department library is open for reference to members of the Department, 08:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday. The Meteorology Librarian is Catherine Turner - her working hours are Tuesdays and Fridays 8:30 - 13:30.
Judith Fox, the Meteorology subject librarian, holds a drop-in session in the Meteorology coffee area, Fridays in term time, 11.15-12.15.
Non-members of the Meteorology Department are advised to contact the library before visiting.
Teach yourself how to use the Library more effectively during your studies at Reading using our self-paced Blackboard course, LibLearn. There are three tutorials in the course and there are quizzes in each one so that you can test yourself on what you have learnt. Find out more about LibLearn.
We also have a range of videos designed to introduce you to the Library and show you how to use our resources. Watch our videos now!
