You can print or copy a limited number of pages from most e-books.
For e-books on the EBSCOhost and Ebook Central platforms the exact number of pages which can be printed is unique to each e-book. Within each e-book a message will appear telling you how many pages you are able to print.
For all other e-books please remember to comply with Copyright which allows you to copy up to 5% or 1 chapter of an e-book.
It is possible to download and print a limited number of pages from Ebook Central e-books. Typically, you will be able to download and print up to 40% of the e-book's pages, including chapters. You will not be able to print the entire book. The exact number of pages available for you to print are displayed in each e-book.
To print, click on the Print icon at the top of the online viewer. 
Print to PDF options should now be displayed including details of the number of pages you will be able to print.
To print the selected pages, enter the page number(s) you would like to print, or select Current Chapter, and press Continue.
You will then be prompted to Open PDF, which will open the pages or chapter you selected as a PDF file. You can chose to print or save this file.
To download or print a chapter, you can also use the Chapter Download option. To do so, select a chapter from the left-hand menu of the online viewer and then click on the Chapter Download icon at the top of the online viewer. 
Chapter Download options should now be displayed. Select Current Chapter and press Continue.
You will be prompted to Open PDF, which will open the chapter you selected as a PDF file. You can chose to print or save this file.
To copy text, click on the Copy icon at the top of the online viewer. 
The current page will be displayed as unformatted text in a pop up box. To copy, highlight the text you wish to copy and press Ctrl + C.

To print pages from EBSCOhost e-books, you must first save the relevant pages to your computer.
Open the full-text PDF of the e-book and click on the Save Pages icon at the top of the online viewer. 
A box will open detailing how many pages you will be able to save. Enter the page number(s) you would like to save or print and press Save PDF.
A PDF copy of the selected pages should now have been downloaded to your computer.
On opening the downloaded file, you can right-click on the text and select Print from the menu, or press Ctrl + P to print.
It is not possible to copy text from EBSCOhost e-books.
