CIPPET Study Support: Using Reading University Library

This guide will help you find resources, understand academic and reflective writing and help you prepare for your coursework and exams

Visiting the Library

The Using the Library section of our website includes all the information you need about visiting the Library, including opening hours, finding us and floor plans. We also have a number of video introductions to the Library and finding information. Use the links below to find out more:

Searching the Library catalogue

The Library catalogue is called Enterprise. Use it to find out which books and journals we have. It includes printed and online materials. For tips on searching see Help using Enterprise.

Search Enterprise using the box below:

Borrowing

When you start your studies at the University you will be given a Campus Card. This is also your Library card. You can use it to borrow books and journals from the Library.

We do not offer a postal loans service, so you will have to visit the Library in person to borrow items. However, you can return them by post. Please check your University email account regularly as we will send notices about recalled items and overdue loans to this address.
