Study Advice session     Maths support

Welcome to this guide on Study Advice and Maths Support resources for UoRM students.

The Study Advice and Maths Support teams are based in the Library on the Whiteknights campus of the University of Reading. We work with students in all academic disciplines and at all levels of academic study. Our role is to help students to understand what is expected of them from academic study in UK higher education, and to give them the tools to develop the practices they need for successful study.

Our guides, worksheets and video tutorials have been produced by ourselves and other experts in learning development, drawing on our knowledge of what students need, gained from years of experience working directly with students in UK universities. They offer ready access to the guidance you need to help you gain success in your studies.

Academic Integrity Toolkit

The Academic Integrity Toolkit has been developed by members of Study Advice, the Library and the International Study and Language Institute at the University of Reading. It aims to give students access to the tools they will need to succeed at university by researching, writing and referencing with academic integrity. It also gives tutors resources they can use when helping students develop the necessary academic skills.
