Library support for researchers at Reading

A man sat at his laptop making notes.

Research Support provided by the Library at the University of Reading is offered by Liaison Librarians, our Research Publications Adviser, the CentAUR Team and the Study Advice Team. We also work closely with the University's Research Data Manager, the Graduate School and Research & Enterprise.

Details of how we can help are outlined on these pages.

University of Reading Research Structures

Research at University of Reading has been organised into four themes:

  • Health
  • Environment
  • Prosperity and Resilience
  • Heritage and Creativity

Each theme is split into several Research Divisions that roughly equate to Units of Assessment for the next Research Excellence Framework (REF2021).

Each theme has a separate webpage with more details of their research activities.
The full list of research division members, including the Heads of the research divisions and the Research Deans for each theme, is available from the Research Intelligence pages of the University website.

A full mapping of the research division members has been created from within SciVal for research intellligence and monitoring purposes. If you would like access to these structures, please contact the Research Publications Adviser.
