This is the new guide on publishing open access books

Use this page to find the most appropriate publisher for you. The choice of publisher is your decision but always consider their possible reach, their ability to publish Open Access and whether they are compliant with the policies of the University and your external funder (if you have one).

Open Access publishers

These publishers offer Open Access publishing (although many will also publish hard copy editions in addition). Most, but not all, charge an Open Access publishing fee.

Hybrid publishers

These publishers offer a choice of traditional non-Open Access publication, or Open Access publication (usually with a fee). If published non-Open Access some publishers will permit deposit of a single chapter in CentAUR without charge but usually with an embargo.
