Your University Library is much more than a collection of books. It offers places to study, a café and access to a range of support services. You can also access a wide range of e-books and electronic resources online, from the comfort of your own room.
Use this guide to make a start in finding out how you may use the Library and access its resources and services.

The session on 'Getting to know your University Library' took place on Tuesday 19 September. It covered the basics of using the Library, from finding books to using online resources; and the support available to help you in your studies. Contact your Academic Liaison Librarian if you need help using the Library and finding academic sources.
Several teams enthusiastically took part in the Library's legendary escape box challenge on Thursday 21 September, solving the clues to open the box, while learning about the Library along the way.
Plenty of students wanted to borrow a mystery book from the Library on Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 September. Each book was wrapped in a paper bag, with the identity of the book only revealed when borrowed using a Self-service Point. We hope you enjoyed reading the book you got!
