MA Creative Enterprise: Reading lists

A guide to finding information for MA Creative Enterprise students. Includes links to key resources and sources of help.

Intro

Most reading lists for MA Create Enterprise modules are on the University's Reading Lists system. This gives you a single point of access to items on your lists including:

  • real-time information about books’ availability;
  • links to our online resources, including e-books and journal articles;
  • links to external web pages and embedded multimedia;
  • scanned extracts of key readings.

For a quick introduction to making the most of your online reading lists, watch the video on this page. For further help and guidance on using your online reading list, see our guide: Online reading lists guide for students

Find links to your lists from the 'Reading Lists' option on your Blackboard module/course content. Alternatively, if you are not able to login to Blackboard you can use these links:

Exploring your reading list

Here are a few tips to get you started:

  • Click on the title of the item in your list to view further details about an item, where it is held in the Library, or to see if it is available.
  • Click 'View Online' to view e-books, online journal articles, and digitised chapters.

  • You can sort your list by importance (e.g. ‘Recommended for student purchase’, ‘Essential’ reading, ‘Recommended’ reading etc.), whether it's available online or in print by clicking on the ‘View' filter at the top of the page. This might help you to manage your time and plan your reading more effectively.
